Mahavishnu Orchestra were the epitome of musicianship and genre blending in the 70s. John McLaughlin and co have created music that most musicians are afraid to aspire towards these days. “Celestial Terrestrial Commuters” is a brief peak into this fusion world, a track that clocks in under 3 mins yet showcases all that is possible in the Mahavishnu world.
