Me & the Karmaloop TV crew had the opportunity to catch up with Boys Noize & Housemesiter at the official Boys Noize Records SXSW 2011 party where both of them DJed along side a performance from Spank Rock. Both German gents spoke about Techno, Acid and their future releases. Boys Noize reveals some his exciting new projects with Sirisumo, Erol Alkan and the productions he made for Spank Rock’s upcoming album.
So this happened. Boys Noize takes David Lynch’s electro-pop tune “Good Day Today” into the territories that we all expected David Lynch’s electronic music to go. The man with the most amazing hair gets Boys Noize’s Berlin treatment – turning the feel good tune into a hypnotic techno track. In my opinion I feel like Boys Noize should have delved into even darker territory. Maybe a Boys Noize scored David Lynch film is next…?
ACID HOUSE! SQUELCHING 303! TECHNO! All courtesy of Berlin’s Techno Maven, Boys Noize. This is all in honor of the upcoming 50th release on Boys Noize Records with a double single of “1010” and “Yeah”. Preview “Yeah” here.

As the musical genius Gonzales prepares to unleash “Ivory Tower”, his latest venture with the help of the one and only Boys Noize here is his next single “I Am Europe”. A playful “guess-who-am-I” track that lays out all the comical absurdities of Europe. Make sure to check out the music video which is more of a trailer to the epic film that coincides with the album that features Tiga.
Djedjotronic takes on “I am Europe” turning it into a massive “diplomatic techno” track ready to globally dominate any dancefloor.
Looks like there is only one screening of “Ivory Tower” in North America which will be in Brooklyn, so everyone be there for this epic occasion.

In case you don’t know for NYE in LA people here go HARD. 2010 was brought in with a bang courtesy of Destructo, DJ Mehdi, A-Trak, and Boys Noize at the Hollywood Palladium. Here is a sneak peak of the epic confetti and champagne that went down. Backstage was a whole other story – full of drunken antics, hummus (courtesy of A-Trak), and fruit platters (courtesy of Boys Noize), but that is all I can say for now.
This should be amazing for what a colossal collaboration/remix this is – but I understand that Bob wanted to retain as much of original as he could so this is more for an edit than a remix.
Check out a vid of The Bloody Beetroots “LIVE”…? More like a little minimix they put together that Bob and Tommy decided to pretend to play – funny stuff.
