Justice Live in Rio: Live Setup
Will someone please get me a Lemur Pad?
Justice’s live setup has become quite elaborate, almost as cool as Daft Punk’s Moog-tastic setup. I am very excited about A Cross the Universe but I wonder what Justice has in store after. Was their Rio show really their last “live” show? Justice x Kanye collab on 808’s and Heartbreaks?

where did you hear rio was their last show? source? i think they’ll be touring for a while, there’s way too much money to be made. hope they’re still on for haunted mansion on halloween.

i like all of the foam pads. nice set of pictures, i wondered what it looked like behind the cross - i never would have pictured a microkorg.

Justice will still be doing DJ sets but apparently Rio was the last time they will be doing the whole Ableton, performing live type of show.

if so, that’s really a shame. this is a very cutting-edge setup with a lot of room for improvising and pushing limits. how many artists are using a Lemur, let alone three? plus live synthesis? that shit is really hard to do, especially when you’re trying to get a crowd to dance for two hours.
let’s hope they pull a KISS with this one.

I think it’s only the last live show of this year. They are still doing DJ sets, since they’re less of a production, visually speaking. I’m guess after this DJ Set only tour, the “A Cross The Universe” tour, they’re gonna go back in the studio a try and get something out for 2010.

I remember watching in an interview a while ago that justice uses a “valentine” machine which does everything.
