Daft Punk in the Studio, Busy P steps down
Ed Banger records head Pedro Winters has stepped down from managing Daft Punk to concentrate on the label and his own musical career as Busy P. But that didn’t stop him from dropping a serious robot bomb on Aussie electronic site InTheMix.
“The boys are in a studio in Paris at the moment,” Winters revealed to ITM. “And I can’t wait to listen to their new stuff! The good thing is that they are making music at the moment.

Big news!
But I thought Thomas said they were in the studio late last year in an interview I read somewhere.
I remember the interviewer asked if it sounded like any other album they have done before for comparison, and he said no, and that he was excited with the direction they were going in with it up to that point.
Early Mid 2009 release?

I’m nervous… with each piece of media daft punk releases, my unbending cult/fanboy devotion is put to the test. One thing’s for sure, in a post-Alive ’07 world, EVERYONE’s going to buy the next album regardless- dp have become one of the main symbols of music hipness.
